Our Work

Selected engagements

The work below is real; the names are withheld. We deliver in environments where client confidentiality and security are contractual, so we describe outcomes rather than customers. We can discuss relevant experience in more detail directly.

Federal Government · Fleet Sustainment

Condition-based maintenance for a national equipment fleet

The challenge

A large federal government organisation sustains thousands of specialised vehicles and platforms, supported by tens of thousands of assets nationwide. Servicing was scheduled at fixed intervals regardless of how each asset was actually used, and the usage, health and maintenance data that could change that sat fragmented across disconnected systems.

What we did

We integrated usage, health and maintenance data into a governed analytics platform, then built the dashboards and custom cloud-native applications engineers use to plan servicing on evidence. Our team embedded alongside the customer's engineering and maintenance staff, iterating on the analytics with the people who act on them.

The outcome

Maintenance decisions grounded in how assets are actually used, supporting safely extended servicing intervals where the evidence allows and targeting effort where it is needed. On one fleet, servicing on evidence rather than fixed intervals roughly halved scheduled servicing demand and cut maintenance effort by around 40%, with condition-based maintenance now spanning several thousand vehicles. Less unnecessary maintenance, better availability, and an analytics capability the organisation continues to run and grow.

Federal Government · Enterprise Data

Keeping data flowing through a major ERP consolidation

The challenge

A federal government enterprise consolidated its ageing corporate systems into a modern ERP. The maintenance analytics platform we build and operate exchanged data with those systems continuously, in both directions, and its users could not afford an outage. The interfaces had to keep working through cutover, against dates that could not move.

What we did

We re-engineered and revalidated the platform's bidirectional ERP interfaces: remapping data structures, rehearsing the switchover, and reconciling data across old and new systems so nothing was lost or double-counted. We supported cutover and hypercare, then kept the integration current through a subsequent major ERP technical upgrade.

The outcome

The analytics platform ran with zero unplanned outage through cutover, hypercare and a subsequent major ERP upgrade. Engineers kept the data they rely on from day one, and the integration has remained stable as the ERP continues to evolve.

Federal Government · Secure Platforms

Open-source analytics inside a highly controlled network

The challenge

A security-conscious federal government customer needed modern analytics and custom applications in an environment where data cannot leave the network, with strict accreditation, patching and audit obligations that rule out most cloud-first approaches.

What we did

We built and operate a containerised platform on Kubernetes inside the customer's controlled environment: CI/CD and GitOps for repeatable releases, routine patching and vulnerability management, an enterprise dashboarding service built on Apache Superset, and custom React and Django applications for operational users.

The outcome

A modern, open-source analytics capability running entirely within the customer's security boundary, with a sustained release cadence most locked-down environments never achieve and priority incidents resolved within agreed service levels. It stays patched and current despite operating fully disconnected from the internet, with security obligations met as routine engineering practice, not an annual scramble.
